How The Ranges Are Generated

One Model, Two Uses

Deliberately Wide
A range you can trust has to be wide enough to be true. The bands widen as applications get bigger - up to thirty per cent either side at the top - because the bigger the application, the more the detail decides the figure. That detail is what the Scoping Sprint pins down.

Fixed Prices, Not Day Rates
We sell a fixed price for a scoped application, never days or hours - so this page shows you prices, not a rate multiplied out. The figure that matters is the one on your quotation: fixed, in writing, before any work begins.

What This Cannot Price
Four things change the figure and none of them can honestly be given a number from bands. They are scoping-call items, priced on the quotation.
A Structured Data Migration
Moving structured records out of an existing system safely is real engineering, and pricing it without seeing the system would be a guess. It is scoped in the Scoping Sprint and priced on the quotation.
Compliance Regimes
Medical, financial and other regulated domains change what must be built, tested and evidenced. A banded range cannot carry that honestly, so a regulated application always starts with the Scoping Sprint.
Native Mobile Apps
A native iOS or Android face of your application is quoted per project alongside the web application - never priced from bands. What that involves is set out on the mobile app development page.
Third-Party Licence Fees
Licences you buy from other companies - payment providers, data services, software you already use - are theirs to price, and we never estimate somebody else's bill. That includes your Google Cloud infrastructure, which Google bills to you directly at its own rates.
